HOMELESS IN HOMELAND is an 80min one woman theater show that documents the journey of a Jewish American woman to understand her identity and her desire for justice in the face of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Join poet, dancer, actor and musician Saria Idana as she weaves the personal with the political, poetry with journalistic theater. Saria speaks in her own voice and in the voices of fifteen other characters, American, Palestinian and Israeli.

Topics will include but not be limited to, the artistic process, identity, violence and how Americans can choose to participate as actors for justice in relation to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The show first premiered in Los Angeles in spring 2010 and the month after featured at the Common Ground On The Hill festival in MD and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York NY. The show is now availiale for booking at theaters and colleges.
